"More than a simple tale of desire, revenge, love and glory; truly a parable for our modern times. The dreams are ones that we all share and the land of Cockaygne could be as close as any modern city today."
"Book and lyrics are refreshingly free of cliche"  and the score is "skillfully varied & filled with musical detail.

Sixteen performances were conducted over three weeks from September 23 - October 9, 2005.

The Golden Dream

The Golden Dream tells the story of a man who overcomes great odds and achieves much more than most ever dream of - freedom from oppression and success in life and love. Nonetheless, he cannot stop fighting demons - an unending quest to rid the world of evil deprives him of the joy that should be his and ultimately leads to his undoing.
